Players complaining that the game is too hard. Can't get good drops to make good builds. Now with prismatic things look even harder and more build dependent. Maybe, maybe not. I will not be pre purchasing it. I will not be purchasing it right out of the gate and most likely will not purchase it. I have had my fill of things being harder to the point the game is not engaging, fun and enjoyable to play. I want to come goof around do a few things have fun and not die to the new classes of enemies every few minutes because I do not have a good build. Bungie, I hope it is OK, but my money is and has been elsewhere.

  • ??? did I say anything about GMs? Making the game harder and MORE build dependant is not goign to do them favoprs with the majority of thier player base. 45% miss in expected revenue, you remember that? Why do you suppose players are not spending money on this game? As for GMs: Never done one, don't have a build to do one, don't really want to do one.

  • that's the problem bottom 100000% player expeting all content should be ultra tutorial baby mode, the game is still baby mode for 100% of the content that is not legend/master

  • I once again never said anything about baby mode or tutorial mode. Did I? Care to actually address the 500 pound gorilla in the room? The fact that the difficulty and build dependence of this past year has cost the company severely in both financial resources and loss of development team members. Those resources alone hurt delivery time and only lead to short cuts in testing like the server changes for onslaught. Like most elitists you don't want to discuss the problem; you want to lay blame at the average players feet, as if we are the reason bungie is doing so poorly!

  • I had a similar feeling when I’ve seen prismatic and the preloaded sets for each class. Lightfall made us use Strand during the campaign when it was still incomplete (missing aspects etc.) and we hadn’t really had time to spec armour into it. Whenever the campaign forced you to use strand I hated it. The final battle I could ignore it thankfully. So with FS it looks like transcendence is required for certain enemy shields. It appears to be the same issue yet again. I was looking forward to using the subclasses and their synergetic weapons that I spends so much time collecting and preparing/ perfecting. That’s what made WQ legendary campaign fun, you already had a good kit and could finally use it for something new, apply it! Another “concern” this emphasis on abilities and supers brings up, is that enemies might be overtuned again in concert with prismatic builds and that our weapon will yet again just plink at bulletsponges and feel ineffective. I sincerely hope that’s not the case.

  • It’s 100% not required for enemy shields. I know you kids think you are cool for hating the game but at least use a topic that is real instead of making up nonsense.

  • “Being Transcendent also allows you to break the shields of special combatants standing in your way on your journey through The Pale Heart of the Traveler. These combatants have been bound by The Witness and are invulnerable to incoming damage otherwise.“ Bungie’s own words. Try reading up next time, before you make wild accusations!

  • Imagine being so confidently incorrect. The game literally forces you to use it yet you are crying that you’ll have to switch to it by necessity. Like if you want to cry about something, at least use a real issue that is popular instead of making nonsense up.

  • I do not hate the game. I dislike the direction the devs are taking it. I am not alone. There is a reason for the 45% in revenue. Players are genuinely not happy with the direction the game is going. The Development team is not listening or talking about our concerns. All Hype this and hype that, wait till you see how game breaking this new subclass is ... yada, yada yada! You know what happens everytime they introduce something game breaking? Something OP? They nerf it hard. My concern is that this is al hype and will be just another lightfall year, where average player struggle because we don;t have the gear or weapons to make the game breaking builds. We already do not have the skill you elite players have, so we already start in the whole twice over!

  • Apparently, it's not fun to just pick up and play games anymore. Everything has to involve BUILDS and CRAFTING. Yeah, wow. So fun.

  • Have you ever played an mmo? Or an RPG? Destiny is neither. And certainly isn't a hybrid. Destiny is a looter shooter. Always has been.

Dying to new enemies because they're new so they now test your skills instead of shooting the same old same old ? Sounds like a you problem, Prismatic is gonna be easy to use and set up, no more being locked into only using a specific subclass just to use like say Stasis nade turrent when you wanna run solar warlock

  • Prismatic, easy? Maybe, Maybe not, considering you are going to have earn the options outside of what you are given to start. It may not be easy or fun. Making new enemies is good, making them really hard like Neptune is is bad for the game. Players did not like that and they won't like it in TFS. Just because it is new does not make it fun, engaging game play. Harder game playstyle that is more dependent on builds, and the right weapon perks has hurt Dentiny 2 this year. You can argue all you want that it hasn't, but you would be wrong. What has been presented of prismatic and TFS makes it look like the dev team is holding fast to their harder is better mentality. It is not good now and will not be good in a few months.
