because everyone crutched special weapons now you have to have primary skill and people are afraid just adapt

Autos, smg, and pulses don't take anymore skill than a special weapon lol. Not to mention everyone camping in the back holding hands is not skillful either. Lack of special is what kill d2 and at this rate it'll probably kill it again.

Also too much special killed any real fights because they would use the special as a primary most of the time and not use primary a lot of people just suck without special

That is true but special is a part of what destiny pvp is built on they just need to nerf the special weapons that over preform compared to other special. I don't fully know what those special weapons are anymore I see fusions are still really good but other specials don't really seem to powerful.

Shotguns can still compete just they are close range more now instead of mapping people like they used to from 10 meters plus

I mean you have to hit headshots and some are easier than others but there is a skill gap between them other than pull the trigger once

That is true but in a game with a good amount of aim assist it's not to hard, especially with autos and pulses.
