Bungie, please don’t change the shiny drop rate.
Idc if I get hate, the amount of people complaining because the rare things is rare is absurd. It’s not guaranteed for a reason. Smoke some weed if you’re that pent up about it and treat it like a maybe and stop assuming everything will be handed to you. Lord.
I’d also like to make this amendment to my argument: I haven’t got a shiny in days. In fact, after countless runs, I only have one succession to show for it. But how REWARDING that one moment felt is far more than I could ever feel getting one from clearing a 50 wave legend. Datto put it well. This is the first time many of us have been excited in years.
Amendment 2: my gf got 2 shinys from one boss clear of legend onslaught.
Amendment 3: I think yall got your wishes I’ve gotten 3 shinys today.

Not that I wanted them, I'm grinding for the seal n I need to kill all 3 bosses, I thought it said bosses rotate weekly but then I noticed people have the triumph completed already & it turns out it's random which boss you get on normal, so I've run maybe 15-16 wave 50s & the boss EVERY time is the warpriest. Yet I'm reading on Reddit guys who've run 50+ wave 50s & had the other 2 but no warpriest. All this on top of 200 banner games last week & no grenade launcher drop. Think I'm gonna stop playing tbh, maybe for good,I get the theory of rare drops feeling special, i grinded in D1 for gally for a whole year & it never dropped, but a timegaited event, that ends soon, with 12 limited time drops that aren't even new, isnt* the place for it. Regarding datto, he was so excited that he's not played since.
