Skill in this game is dead. Only way to be a top player is to use a cheesy build. Anything that awards you with an easy kill. If you go into trials thinking you can just use a primary. You are mistaken. Cheesy ability and exotic combinations is the only way to excel now. Especially when we can mix different classes together next season. Get use to it. Only going to get worse. Is cheating a problem? Yes. But for the most part it’s just cheese that’s killing you over and over again.

I went solo flawless 10 times on multiplex (the scout rifle map) with Sturm drang, two primaries that anyone can use. Saying skill is dead is an excuse just to make yourselves feel better.

Not really imo. I went in this weekend with an auto and side arm (and kept forerunner handy for when 1/2 people were using it on the other team) didn’t use sniper/shotgun/fusion once, and I ran arc hunter with stompees. Did just fine without having to use anything cheesy (except forerunner to counter other forerunners)

Autos are cheese right now. They have to much forgiveness and ease of use.

Everything is easy to use lol, if it’s not autos it’s “hand cannons are too easy/too much AA” or “people just camp the back with scouts and pulses team shotting” or “smgs are OP nerf them for the literal 13th time this year” or “all you do is crutch special” People need to realize good players will do well with everything. Map/enemy awareness and movement will beat any type of cheese weapon people complain about every single time. But people don’t want to talk about that. Just I got killed by ______ please nerf it.

Yeah someone gets sniped and they immediately say it was a cheater to cope. This game is heavily reliant on cheesy builds.
