Bungie, please don’t change the shiny drop rate.
Idc if I get hate, the amount of people complaining because the rare things is rare is absurd. It’s not guaranteed for a reason. Smoke some weed if you’re that pent up about it and treat it like a maybe and stop assuming everything will be handed to you. Lord.
I’d also like to make this amendment to my argument: I haven’t got a shiny in days. In fact, after countless runs, I only have one succession to show for it. But how REWARDING that one moment felt is far more than I could ever feel getting one from clearing a 50 wave legend. Datto put it well. This is the first time many of us have been excited in years.
Amendment 2: my gf got 2 shinys from one boss clear of legend onslaught.
Amendment 3: I think yall got your wishes I’ve gotten 3 shinys today.

Some people seem to be saying that's not the case. If you play a lot you certainly shouldn't end up with less. No one should make that argument with a straight face. The game has been out long enough and certain kinds of player have repeatedly reminded everyone that the casual majority actually runs the game with their combined money force, so it basically can start to look like The SCRIMINATION!!!!! Ahhh, and the casual majority is doing and saying "who me?" It's rng that's done the same thing for years now, just like when the scrimination gets done for real. It's made so people get away with it, not so they caught. Unless they changed it. I wouldnt know, my rng drop stuff tends to work just right. My pve playtime isn't even half what my pvp playtime is though.
