(It's the final match of this SFT vs. VCO collaboration combat event. The energy within the crowd is anxious, very desirous for a legendary main event to conclude an SFT-collabed event since over a decade ago.)
Auro: And now, your final fight begins now.....
*Crowd cheers. Sai glares over at the large entrance on the VCO side, deeply questioning himself on who will be Sephinon's opponent.*
Auro: The Glacier Warrior: SEPHINON!
*SFT fighter entrance slides open, revealing the iconic Sephinon, followed by an outburst of cheers, repeated "Sephinon!" chants included. These chants continue until Sephinon gradually walks to the combat area. To her left, Auro can hear low-pitched snickering from Aredeses, who is looking down at her phone, which seems to be the cause of her soft, but evil laughter. From what Auro can try and make out, it looks like a text message sent to Aredeses. She then turns to Auro, speaking lowly on the mic in broken English: "Sephinon...is...defeat." before turning to the crowd, ready to announce the mystery VCO combatant.
Aredeses: *in Greek* (Your mystery VCO combatant......
Gladiatorial King...Roman...Deiphamos.
*The crowd gasps in shock, Sai makes a concerned look, and his allies also look concerned. A governmental figure is the mystery combatant, enough proof that strings were being pulled for Vaisallon's advantage. The crowd all turn to the VCO entrance, just waiting for the doors to slide open, but someone points to something mid-air: "He's up there!" Revealing the Gladiatorial King, slowly descending onto the combat area. Roman looks to his left, along the platforms to see Liomage and Divenos, followed by random High Council members, all furiously marching close to him.*
Divenos: *into a mic* Hey despot, you can't do that! Governmental officials can't just compete in combat sports!
Roman: *into a mic that was thrown to him by Aredeses* In this case, YOUR governmental officials can't compete in combat sports. It was already decided, and even your beloved Sephinon agreed.
*The VCO entrance slides open, revealing Roman's loyalists and a squad of Vaisallian soldiers with packs of armored dogs behind them. Grandmaster Riuno floats towards Roman, lending his hand out for the microphone as the Gladiatorial King hands it to him.*
Grandmaster Riuno: *into the mic* Unfortunately for you, Saitranovians, it's true. Sephinon, we will make a deal. If you do win, we will confirm to a truce, and we'll end this Saitranovia-Vaisallon Regions rivalry as a tie.
*Roman gives Grandmaster Riuno a dirty look due to the fact that Roman wants retribution, and for Grandmaster Riuno to oppose it really seems offensive to him. He just won't back down and resort to a draw for something he's been planning for years.*
Grandmaster Riuno: However, if Roman wins, well...when he wins...I'll let him decide what changes will be brought upon Saitranovia. Let this match begin.
*Grandmaster Riuno joins the rest of Roman's loyalists on the sidelines, while all around, everyone is glued to this match, from the GB&P, the S.S., the SIU, Severaes and his crew, the Purple Cloaks, even Gladiatorial Queen Thesinia all the way down in Vaisallon Regions.*

[FIGHT SEQUENCE]
*Much like the previous match, the current one begins with an anxious standoff between Sephinon and Roman, aided by massive cheers, but one thing is for sure; majority of the cheers are for the home-field fighter Sephinon, who moves first by casually walking around Roman in a circle while trails of ice follow, a way of gaining momentum. Not waiting for Sephinon to make a move, Roman teleports right in front of him, delivering an energy-assisted punch guarded by an ice shield that was quickly set up. Roman cracks the shield, but ice particles on his glove start to enlarge, freezing and entrapping his right hand, giving Sephinon a chance to fire ice shards into Roman's body, then a -blam!- combo with his cybernetic cryo sword. He goes for another ice blast, but energy bursts around Roman, causing Sephinon to jump back.*
*Blue energy emits around Roman's right hand, lightly exploding as the ice breaks, freeing his hand. Closing in on the Gladiatorial King, Sephinon throws out several sword attacks that are all evaded. Roman attempts to grab Sephinon, who notices and counters by trapping Roman's arms in ice, then teleports away to create some distance.*
Roman: *busting the ice off his arms, then lightly paces* Ahh, so you're relying on ranged combat rather than up close?!
Sephinon: *charging his cryo sword, light blue energy and ice vapor emitting* I've studied you in combat. You prefer close-ranged, mostly reliant on melee, but you're a quick adapter. No wonder you're one of the best VCO combatants within its entire history.
*The 2 rush each other, Sephinon with his cryo sword raised diagonally, and Roman raising his right hand, fueled by blue and golden energy. The 2 clash their attacks, creating this combined gold and blue and icy energy explosion, releasing a massive shockwave, slightly shaking the entire coliseum. Dark blue ice starts to suffuse over Roman's body, Sephinon coming in with a swift low kick to his right leg that is covered by ice. Seeing Roman unbalanced, Sephinon follows up with a sword slash to another part of Roman's body that is covered in ice; his left arm, then hits a double-fist one-inch punch, sending Roman back. Sephinon then rains down ice pillars, dealing some good damage to Roman, but he's not done there, as he traps Roman in an ice sphere in attempts to weaken him.*
Saitonia: *sort of amused at Sephinon's performance, saying to himself* Wow. Sephinon is really handing it to the Gladiatorial King. When I get my hands on him, I'll do worse than anything Sephinon offers in this battle.
*Sai turns towards Kizani, who appears to be watching the fight as well, only for her to turn right back at Sai in an instant, catching him off guard as he looks back down at the fight.*
*Back with the fight, Sephinon surfs on an ice wave towards the ice sphere. As he places his right hand on the ground, multiple ice pillars pierce through the sphere, causing it to shatter, but Roman was nowhere in that sphere. Instantly, a blue line flashes through Sephinon, who actually notices and covers his entire body in ice to lessen Roman's upcoming attack, and the Gladiatorial King indeed attacks with a sudden, crushing punch, right hand covered in his energy. The punch was strong enough to shatter the ice upon impact, dealing great amounts of damage to Sephinon as a shockwave causes a tremor within the coliseum.*
*Sephinon recovers quickly after being sent flying meters back. He takes a quick look up to see Roman leaping into the air, then teleporting, reappearing right in front of Sephinon as he unleashes swarms of teleportation punches, some landing on Sephinon, and some are blocked by his ice barriers. As Roman goes for one more teleportation strike, Sephinon catches his hand with a small blast, causing ice to build up and weaken his left arm, following up with a larger ice blast that pushes Roman back.*
*Roman is still on his feet from the blast. Sephinon pursues him by shifting into an ice trail, then moving upward and shifting back into his normal form, mid-air, charging up ice energy spheres. Roman summons a barrier around his body, but surprisingly, Sephinon doesn't fire at him, but instead, the ground around them, building a small-scale ice fortress within seconds. Technicians inside a tech room administer a camera drone to enter the fortress, displaying that drone's view on the big screen due to the fortress obscuring the action, with half the crowd's attention are turned to the big screen.*
*The drone has made it inside the ice fortress, which doesn't have that much going on, just a huge lobby with parallel staircases going up. The drone is witnessing Sephinon locking himself inside a cryo chamber hung meters off the ground. Roman attempts to punch the chamber open, but an ice wall holds him back and slows him down. Then, a blizzard occurs, obscuring the view on the chamber. Seconds later, as the blizzard stops, the chamber opens, revealing Sephinon landing out of the chamber and in his incarnation called Glacier Vanquisher; sporting thin, icy, dark blue and black armor around his entire body, and forming a mask on his face. The crowd reacts in astonishment.*
Random Spectator: Oh, Sephinon's winning for sure. I can just feel the freezing air, just giving me intense shivers.
Saitonia: *observing Sephinon's Glacier Vanquisher incarnation* (You may have a powerful incarnation, Sephinon, but let us see how efficiently you'll use it.)
Roman: *mockingly* That's a nice little form you got there, Glacier Warrior.
Sephinon: I wouldn't underestimate it. I could freeze you on the inside and cause destruction to the body at molecular and even subatomic levels, but I won't go that far.
Roman: Psh, soft, like the rest of these Saitranovians. In Vaisallian culture, it ain't a VCO fight if one or both competitors aren't at a millimeter of their life, and here, I'm gonna show you.
*Continuing Below*
-
*Continued Below: As Roman teleports, Sephinon unleashes a hail sphere around his body, used to slow down opponents and drain their energy. Luckily for Roman, he felt this defense mechanism being unleashed in the midst of his teleportation and jumps back the second he reappears, only being tagged slightly by the sphere.* Roman: (Should I resort to projectiles? If so, they'll have to be blazing. Scorching projectiles that he'll have trouble incapacitating.) *Roman emits an azure-blue aura around his body, intensifying it in order to become hotter. As Sephinon walks with assertion, wielding an enhanced cryo sword in hand, he swings the sword down, firing an icy energy wave towards Roman, responding with a projectile from the aura, canceling both blasts out. Sephinon walks even closer, and as the 2 are a good 6 feet away. Sephinon slashes again, his entire body shifting past Roman in a frosty blur. Turning around, Sephinon sees that his slash attack has only cut through a shield that was covering Roman's entire body. Roman charges up intense energy around his body at the cost of his aura, teleporting right in front of Sephinon and unleashing his special ruinous punch. Sephinon teleports to evade the attack, leaving an ice clone in his spot that is hit instead. However, ice fails to freeze up Roman's arm as he has overpowered it; his punch was destructive enough to cause the entire ice fortress to explode. Blue smoke clears, revealing the 2 at a standoff. As an intense aura bursts onto Roman, he instantly teleports, reappearing with a barrage of powerful, burning energy punches alongside continously teleporting. Sephinon places down ice clones, but because of Roman's scorching energy, the ice clones' ability to build up ice onto Roman's arms and drain his energy is negated. Teleporting one more time, Roman gets a good punch to Sephinon's stomach, stopping his movement and stunning him. Roman then follows up with a haymaker, resulting in his hand being caught by Sephinon, using the same hand he's wielding his sword in, throwing the sword in his other hand as he builds up ice on Roman's arm, then piercing him with the sword that's in his other hand.* *They're now in close-quarter combat, in which the Gladiatorial King specializes in. Sephinon delivers a left elbow that is blocked, then 2 jabs, then a spin kick that Roman backs away from, then a jumping spin kick from Sephinon as his legs are engulfed in ice. Roman counters by blasting Sephinon's legs, then punches the ground right after. The punch cracks the ground and creates a large blue circle. Teleporting, then reappearing behind Sephinon, Roman goes for another attack, but in an instant, Sephinon performs a spin attack with his sword that Roman blocks with an energy outline around his forearms, as the energy outline is hot enough to negate the ice drain ability.* *As Roman grabs tightly onto Sephinon's arms, a dagger is unexpectedly met to the back of Sephinon, causing him to waver and giving Roman the upper hand, amplifying the heat of his own energy all over his body, disappearing in blue energy, then reappearing with a blazing, ruinous punch that shatters the ice clone Sephinon had summoned. Roman performs his teleportation punch barrage, all connecting and dealing major damage. Roman charges up even more energy to deliver one final scorching punch to Sephinon's face, sending him flying and causing a huge shockwave. Unfortunately, for most of the crowd, they can feel that Roman will most likely be ending the fight. Sephinon lifts his head up and reaches to a knee, but it's too late for him, as a radiant, blue torpedo in which Roman has shifted in, cuts right through him, concluding the final match on the SFT-VCO combat event.* ____________ [FIGHT SEQUENCE OVER] *Returning to normal form, Roman walks towards Sephinon, no longer in his incarnation, lying on his stomach and twitching a bit, possibly signaling that he still has fight left in him. Roman stomps his right foot near Sephinon, creating an energy circle that burns Sephinon's body. He doesn't make a sound, but is definitely showing that he can't take any more, so Roman cancels out the circle and walks off. The crowd is enraged, and Auro just watches in dismay, too stunned to lift the microphone and announce the winner, so Aredeses does it for her.* Aredeses: *in Greek, very ecstatic* (And your winner; Gladiatorial King Roman Deiphamos!) *Roman's loyalists and the VCO roster cheers, but the Saitranovia crowd boos, with some even walking out. Finalizing the results, the 2 combat organizations are tied with 4-4. Roman joins up with his loyalists.* Aeriyos: *asks Roman* Think we could put Saitranovia under a "semi-satellite state", along the lines of that? *light snicker* We take half their resources and make the civilians heavily relying on us to give them shit. Roman: Heh, it should be that easy, but Liomage over there is too persistent. *mic in hand, turning towards Liomage to speak to him* Ruler, I just beat one of your best fighters' asses, but the worst is yet to come. Liomage: *replying back* Better keep that word, Gladiatorial King. If you think you'll successfully get your revenge by a collaboration event that ended in a draw, by the way, you're quite foolish for a ruler of a mainland. Grandmaster Riuno: Gladiatorial King, let's depart. We acquired some of what you wanted. We'll plan the rest back home. *Roman glares coldly at Liomage, with the thought of slaying him there, but knowing for sure Liomage is putting the zepiks where his mouth is, he listens to the Grandmaster, and backs down.* Roman: You're lucky. If any of your fighters wanna step up to me, don't hesitate to call. This coliseum is open to any challengers, indefinitely. *Sai looks down at the section his allies are sitting in for a second before getting up and exiting the coliseum, doing this so that Kizani doesn't pick up on Sai's connections.* Cathera: *quickly seeing Sai exit before turning back to the group* Sai's leaving already, wait a bit. Kavita: Ohh, Kizani. I think she's watching him. *The group watches Kizani hesitantly get up, then walk towards the exit that Sai has walked through.* Cathera: Let's not follow her. Wouldn't want Kizani to feel suspicious of us. *Aino receives a message from Sai on her cator: "The military woman is possibly following me. I'll meet you back at the safehouse." Aino sends a reply: "Ok then. Well, we have numbers advantage and can just kill her, but I guess we'd resort to that if either she is trying to kill you or when the time is right."* ______________ (Minutes later, excluding Sai, and of course Maviko, since she wasn't there to begin with, and even her present version, Aino and the group are outside the coliseum, watching all the other attendees leave. Cat scans the area before she finally lays eyes on the Himeki lookalike, by the parking lot.) Cathera: Oh, there she is. *Cat leads the group, but very quietly and carefully. They can now get a better look at this lookalike; in which this woman exceeds Himeki's height by a few inches, wearing white jeans with faintly glowing, dark blue lines around the thigh area. Glossy, black knee pads, and black, stocky, tech boots with dark blue glow and white at the sole and heel areas.* Cathera: Ummm, excuse me, lady in the white pants. *The lookalike takes her eyes off her cator and turns around, met with a strange group that has approached her.* Himeki Lookalike: *monotone and a bit raspy, but soothing voice* Uh, yeah? Cathera: Have we met before? Himeki Lookalike: III...don't remember your face. Maybe you attended Akanotashi Academy as well? Cathera: No, but we knew someone who attended there. She looked just like you. Himeki Lookalike: *pitifully* Oh, you must be talking about Himeki. *The group gasps loudly, unbeknownst to them at a lookalike knows about the person that they resemble.* Vandren: We got somewhat a connection. Can we get your name, though? Himeki Lookalike: *mustering up the urge despite reluctance* Shiraita. Kavita: I can assume Japanese-Terranovian...*raspy breather* just like Himeki. Agh screw it! We'll stop with the comparisons. Despite being a scary lookalike, you're surely ENTIRELY- *raspy exhale* different. Shiraita: *lightly nods* Yeah...for both. I applied for that academy in hopes of refining my skills. Wasn't there for long. I joined around...late 2016, and because of my resemblance to your late friend, higher-ups mandated that I wear a mask in public to "avoid local controversy". Operations were postponed in early 2017 through early 2018, due to that Infernal putting us in that war-stricken state. Shortly after we returned, I was in a spar with...I guess I consider her to be a "rival". She was...rather very envious, and she wanted to unveil me, and she got what she wanted. During our spar, she got lucky and ripped my mask off. Upon my unfortunate face reveal, the spar abruptly stopped and she walked off, accusing me of copying Himeki's face to defame her contributions to the academy. The next day, they sent me a slip that said that I was banished, for the reason as stupid as causing major controversy, basically admitting to believing her blatant accusations. Kavita: Woooow. I wanna know who she is so I can meet her...with a punch. But it's nice meeting you...,Shiraita. _____________ END:

Bump. About damn time. Was quite busy.
