50 waves on legend onslaught : one guaranteed shiny
Legend onslaught worth doing a full run, shiny is still rare enough and makes you back to legend onslaught for more

I don't think that would be fair, because I know how people are playing Legend. Pantheon is the aspirational content, Into the Light is supposed to be for all players and so gatekeeping guaranteed shinys behind Legend 50... not it. That's why the bonus rnd is better I think. If they gave guaranteed shinys from Legend 50, then they're no longer rare either.

Just one guaranteed for the effort you put to clear 50 waves on legend isn't gatekeeping, it's a reward for putting extra mile to do 50 waves or why bother running the harder activity if the reward is no better than the normal one? You still have perk rolls to sift through for that one rare roll

Yeah it is. I have such a potent example too. My friend who I will not name is one of the best PvE players in the world... He'd been farming Legend 50... he messaged me to get his Normal 50. Something seem off to you? There's no skill to Legend, no one farming it is playing legit. So, then you guaranteed a slate of best-in-class weapons to only 1% PvE players and those that cheese. That's not fair. It's Bungie co-signing rewards for exploits and totally destroying the rarity of Shinys. With my suggestion you get one extra weapon per 10 set, and I'm even cool with the bonus rnd rng being better on Legend, but they shouldn't guarantee Shinys for 50 Legend unless they do it for Normal. These aren't meant to be skill gap drops, exploit needed drops.
