Assuming you’re referring to trials. It is the special ammo economy, absolutely nothing to do with forerunner. Bungie basically gave us unlimited special ammo.

To be fair... nobody running bastion or jotunn. There's a reason forerunner is the most used gun.

Not exactly true. A few games this weekend where I faced Jotunn players. I can very well recall the Titan shooting another 5 shots on my ghost.
