I never completed the original Whisper mission because I got so frustrated with the jumps, I don't think I made it past the beginning section with the pushing walls. It was satisfying to actually get through the entire quest (solo no less, although I will admit it only happened because the timer glitched for some reason and didn't return me to orbit when it expired) and collect Whisper myself.

I only was able to complete it due to others carrying me hard, I didn't know about the skip back in the day, and had a hard time in the green room I was so terrible back then

You aren't alone there. 🤣 My first 2 attempts this time around, I had no idea what I was doing since I wanted to try it blind; it's so damn dark! Prior to the last try I caved and looked the quest up and that's when I found out about the stupid Green Room skip. Fortunately, I have a friend that was willing to carry my behind through the Legend version for the catalyst and intrinsic perks, otherwise there was no way I would've gotten it done. I'm definitely looking forward to the Outbreak mission in May as well since I was taking a break from the game when it was active.

I did it blind, but remembered they mentioned a skip in the green room during the Live Stream and looked for it till I found it 👍🏽🤙🏽 As for legend mode, I had my boys Xexecutioner xSolid with me, and we just kept casting Well and plinked the bosses down. Of course I released all 3 minis on us at the same time, they were like: Belayaa noo!! Don't!!! kill them one at a time! And I was like: f that my N words we got this, 13 minute clear Felt carried again 🤣😂 Xex was like: Belayaa I just want you to know I only ad cleared I was like "what!" "I didn't rally to the flag"

Yeah, I had no idea about the Vex blocks releasing the mini-bosses; I saw them so I shot them. Whoops! Got the 'Taken Aback' triumph for it though. The little section of wall on the right side of the area seemed [i]relatively[/i] safe and once I wore down those 3, I was so excited! For a few seconds anyway. Then the ogre showed up, my stomach dropped a bit, and I started working him down despite knowing full well I didn't have enough time. Somehow though, the game kept me in and I finished it off at something like 44 minutes, 27 seconds according to Destiny Tracker.
