Idc if I get hate, the amount of people complaining because the rare things is rare is absurd. It’s not guaranteed for a reason. Smoke some weed if you’re that pent up about it and treat it like a maybe and stop assuming everything will be handed to you. Lord.
I’d also like to make this amendment to my argument: I haven’t got a shiny in days. In fact, after countless runs, I only have one succession to show for it. But how REWARDING that one moment felt is far more than I could ever feel getting one from clearing a 50 wave legend. Datto put it well. This is the first time many of us have been excited in years.

Maybe the introduction of a mercy %; Example, for every level 50 clear, your drop rate chance increases by 1% (3% for legend clears), to a max of 25%. This could then also address the "issue" of people quitting at level 10 all the time, in legend, as there is a long term benefit for finishing it. Or, like additional rep bonus modifiers are added for playlist activities, maybe have a period of time, where drop rates are increased on a certain level - e.g. lvl 20 for legend, 40 for normal - allow people to set aside a specific grind time.
