Transmog exotics since new class items negate old reason not to?
In the past, Bungie would not let us transmog Exotic Armor since they wanted you to be able to tell at a glance what perks were active from Exotics that people were wearing. Now that the Final Shape is bringing the exotic class items that can combine perks from multiple exotics, that old reasoning is out the window since, those class items are identical in appearance regardless of the perks.
That being the case, can we please have the ability to transmog our exotics come the Final Shape?

My thoughts exactly. It’s painful to sacrifice my aesthetics for the sake of exotic perks. Not only will it be possible to now have multiple exotic perks at once, but it’ll also be possible to have exotic perks from different classes. If recognizability is no longer a matter of importance, allowing us to transmog exotics shouldn’t be an issue.

We can't transmog exotics so bungie can sell us ornaments, I don't see how the class item changes that.

Yeeeaaah... I doubt it's going to happen, and honestly I'm probably going to take a hard pass on these new class items. They're hideous, and I'm not changing up my entire fit, to match something that looks like that.

It won't happen simply because of eververse. They bring out the most hideous looking exotic armor know to guardian kind and then release an OK looking ornament that you can only purchase with silver. -
I was asking for this way before the class item thing. If someone wants to see what I'm running they can inspect me. Real reason is, they sell exotic skins to make their ugly exotics look less ugly
