You look at Warframe and we have had 8 hotfixes for the Dante Unbound update since March 27th and DE has around 300 people. You look at Destiny and there has been a glitch in the game making Anti-Barrier trash with projectile weapons since Shadowkeep first came out back in Oct. 1st, 2019 and still hasn't been fixed while having around 1,100 people working there. The devs seem to really want to work on the game, but I think the higher ups just don't want to do stuff like overtime pay or something so things are limited with Destiny. Talk about not overdelivering, more like underdelivering over and over again.

  • The difference between warframe and destiny is the content that is released. Warframe has droughts, but at least I know the update works and they have time to balance and patch stuff. The dev team plays to the fact they don't have a big team. As such, quality is more important than recycle boogaloo Destiny on the other hand are like smartphones, big team, mass produced and quality will come later, because the CEOs believe that a week of no content is far worse than dookie content. Hence quality is suffering I remember people saying destiny 2 needed content every week. The biggest bs I heard all week, if I were to get away from destiny 2 for a week, I would have to grind double. Its a commitment, that's a fact. I remember in destiny 1 where at least the quality was alright with each content drop like dlcs. Before people say that's nostalgic, have your issues been fixed yet? No. They couldn't because they don't have time. Because content content content content🤣

  • Agreed. I recall when base D2 and such were having content droughts and yet it was still fun. I even enjoyed Curse despite the planet being small and the Infinite Forest's poor use. Despite all that, I was fine with the game. Now we have seasonal content/episodes and such and things have progressively gotten worse. I feel it really fell of when Ghosts of the Deep came out. I enjoyed Lightfall as a whole, but then the nerfs started coming in and I have just felt we are at an all time low on power these days. Datto says we are at our strongest right now, I laugh as I proceed to either experience this my self or watch one of his/Jez's videos of them doing GMs and getting one-shot. At our strongest my -blam!-. I remember when Goldie still did 999,999 damage on a crit or when Thundercrash didn't slide along targets instead of actually deal damage on impact.

  • And best part about patches for Warframe is - detailed info what was fixed, added, changed, removed - updates like every other few days, it's just funny how often they update the game lol
