Been that way for awhile too. Just today I had multiple matches, pretty much every other match, in the span of an hour or so where, within a minute of match start someone has heavy ammo. This has been going on for over a year or so now from what I've noticed.
Then Bungle in their infinite wisdom threaten to ban players for leaving those matches with cheaters, because that studio has no damn clue what the hell they're doing.

A friend of mine said this about the situation with cheaters. Suck it up and deal with it. Report them after. I don't fully agree with this as I can understand not wanting to deal with cheaters, PvP has never been my thing nor have I ever found it fun minus custom matches with friends, but I can kind of get where he is going with this. Bungie probably thinks that doing this penalty to leavers thing would allow them to get more reports in on said cheaters more often. Still think this punishment of players who actually want to enjoy the game is a poor decision though. Then again, it's not like it's their first time doing that to people.

Yeah. They looove the punishment ring. If they were half decent at their jobs they wouldn't have to implement this stuff in the first place because it wouldn't be much of an issue. It sucks, because the reality is, yeah, all anyone can do is just live with it. We can't ban or anything. This game probably would have been a good one to have custom player servers with mods, but no use thinking too deep into that one.
