So Crucible and Vanguard Ops, probably Gambit too (I don't touch that) drop weapons with multiple perks as you prestige. You can even get double triple perks. The doubles or triples are random, singles still drop, but they drop decently enough. We should be able to craft multiperk weapons too. This should just be the model for everything. Combining perks, one would think just ruins the grind, and makes it too easy, but nope; I've done this far too much, just trying to get the right Randy's since it was re-released, and still have not gotten it. Its definitely still a grind. It definitely feels so much more worth the chase when weapons drop with double perks too. I can just have one or two weapons, instead of a whole lineup, for specific activities. They should outright remove single perks from the game and default to double. This I feel, would help the Onslaught grind, because then, even if you're not getting shiny versions, you're still getting double perk rolls. The only special, more exclusive things really, should only be cosmetic anyway. Anything else is just being an elitist pr*ck. We all paid for the game. Very few, Im sure stick with the free version, given how insanely limited it is. This also saves on vault space, so Bungie has less to deal with there, and players can have more equipment slots open if they engage with multiple activities. They have to dig through the vault less to bring the right stuff, and we can still get Adepts and everything we already have. Bungie is always concerned about space, and this is an easy space saver. Quality over quantity is the best answer. Just my thoughts.

  • Well, they could do that... but then theyre likely to just dump a bunch of useless perks into the pool to dilute it.

  • 😂 Sounds like a Bungie thing. Its crazy how much effort they go through to make things useless in PvE. PvP I understand to a degree with player balance. Its that kind of thing though, where I can't see any developer consciously doing alot of what they do so often, and it really does make me wonder from time to time if their sole purpose for this game is to just troll their playerbase.

  • Its not so much to make things useless as its to make people grind for weeks / months for their god roll.

  • Of course, we can still remember that in these activities you can still buy weapons by spending materials. In this activity you cannot do anything other than sit and cheer.

  • I agree on some things and disagree on other things (like all weapons having double perks, no I'm not an elitist) but RNG is absolutely stupid, I agree. Allow me to be specific: Paragraph 1/2: When you unlock each reset the playlist (and Nightfall imo) should gives an extra perk for each reset (max 4 in each column) and the resets don't reset when a new expansion comes out, that's stupid. Multi-perk crafted weapons? People would ABUSE that... I want that. Combining perks? Would be cool but this is an eh for me. I very much hope you get that Randy's godroll you want. Bungie would just butcher combinable perks like they did to crafting (especially when it came out). Paragraph 3/4: I don't agree with the global double perks but letting every weapon be craftable (like 2023-on Raid Adepts) would make this better and Bungie COULD make it so at a certain weapon level you can select ANY perk in the loot pool for that weapon would be better in my honest opinion. However, Shiny weapons SHOULD be cosmetic and guns rewarded at the END of onslaught should default to double perks and Shaxx should reset so you can get a max of 4 in each column (the double perks would make five >:) ). Also in a way, onslaught is making the free version better by awarding Ascendant Alloys, Enhancement Prisms, etc but agreed, free version sucks. Paragraph 5/6: The multiple perk stuff for these activities would be nice. As I said above having all weapons ready to be crafted and having multiple perks would possibly fix this issue. And yes, I agree on Quality > Quantity.

I do not disagree, I see your suggestions just as valid. I'd roll with that too. My thought process was more on logistics than play, and those things can be disagreeable, true story. I like the suggestions.

  • Exactly! After all these years, they know what they must do, yet they constantly do the opposite.... One might think that they do everything they can to frustrate the player base 🤦‍♂️
