Too bad the date isn’t set based on you/your clan availability.

Edited by Flamebut57: 4/19/2024 4:06:20 PMYes as I said it is unfortunate and no date will ever make everyone happy. The larger issue I was trying to convey was the lack of transparency behind the decision. I was also trying to provide some constructive feedback about their process. I know I’m in the minority of players, but feedback is feedback. Your response highlights a part of the somewhat manipulative effect of funneling feedback through a non-direct line of communication. Not really a big deal for me.

It’s clearly a big deal to you because you made a twitlonger style post & it’s causing you to (reportedly) not buy the dlc.

I would have been more than happy to leave feedback directly with bungie. Missing the raid is not a big deal for me. I’m saving some money. The lack of transparency from Bungie bothers me. None of your comments are constructive. Although you did not ask for it I would advise you to learn how to communicate directly. Not once did I suggest bungie move the launch date of the raid or that it should be centered around my needs as you have implied. I simply pointed out that the way in which the information was decided and disseminated could have been handled better. Moreover I left feedback for Bungie (again not to you or any other players) that I would not be buying the game. I do not care what your opinions or thoughts on my thoughts or actions are and I did not ask you. Your lack of sympathy and empathy for other people will I’m sure not take you far in life.

Again, it is a big deal to you or you wouldn’t be complaining about it….much less saying you won’t by the dlc as a punishment to bungie for choosing this date. Furthermore, we still have over a month for them to provide an explanation (if they choose to give us any). This is a public forum. If you don’t want others to comment, then refrain from making any posts/comments on it.

The forum is the Bungie approved way of leaving feedback. There is no other option unless you have a twitter. It is not punishment. It is feedback. I no longer enjoy any other aspect to the game besides contest mode. I don’t care about the emblem. The difficulty of contest mode was fun. I know I’m in the minority. I think they deserve and would want to know why they’ve lost a customer. Doubly so since they are struggling financially. I think they’ve handled the release poorly so far. They do have a month to explain why, and I hope they do for everyone else’s sake. I hope the raid is awesome and you enjoy it and all the Bungie developers can receive great launch feedback. I’ve heard good things about the latest update. I have basically only played the campaign and the raid of the past two expansions. So all this means to me is I’m not going to be playing the game for ~2 more weeks. I haven’t played in about a year so not really a big deal.
