Disagree with the missions part.
I enjoyed what they did outside of the story line.
Weapons were great too.
Some of the best seasons they ever made were dropped over the past year.

I’m not the only player who had that opinion and it’s why they had record numbers playing for 6 months after the DLC dropped. If you don’t like then don’t play it. Crying about it over a year later isn’t changing that fact.

Dude the dlc is rate doverwhelmingly negative and Bungie is hemorrhaging money. Its so bad actually, that Sony is talking about taking over the company and forcing them to drop execs. The playerbase dropped off a cliff after lightfall, and thats why Bingie is currently in damage control mode with into the light. I dont know what kind of delusion you're living with, but im sure theres meds for it. Lightfall was God awful. Strand is fun, thats about it.

I posted the numbers weekly on the forums to clarify the dumb statements being posted. There was more active players this year than first the previous DLC Witch Queen. That’s a fact. If they have record numbers playing then they’re making money hand over fist. Strand is brilliant and was a massive success in the game. Lol bet you have it equipped on a character as I type this. The projected profit comment came from top. It can mean anything they want it to. Corporate executives use terms like projected profits to reason firing people or cutting budgets. D2 is listed in the best selling games on Steam few months ago. Most of the content creators and review point to the story and delivery of the narrative as the reason why LF was unpopular. Where did they get the money to all the free stuff we have now? Sony didn’t give them more money. Bungie is doing just fine and guys like you that like to whine and bash will buy FS and be waiting in line to play the day it drops. Lol you call me delusional yet you keep throwing your money at your screen 😂

When did LF release? It released in February lol. So 10 months after WQ released the numbers started falling? Haha wow what mystery. Where is the quote from Bungie in the article? There’s none because the writer of the article is pushing an opinion piece. WQ posted record numbers that were eclipsed by LF. WQ is the better DLC but numbers still grew. FS numbers will eclipse last years and yada yada yada. D2 has been on the same trajectory with players for 4 years now. DLC drops and everyone is playing so they post record numbers. At the 6 month mark numbers decline but return when the new DLC drops. People get burn out from playing the same game over and over and that’s the 6 month mark with D2. Sonys issues are with upper management and executives at Bungie and NOT D2 or the developers.

Sony doesn’t have issues with D2, developers or numbers of players. They have issues with Bungie upper management and Bungie executives. Here is the entire quote from Sonys president. “I visited the Bungie studios and had meetings with management,” he said, “and I saw that employees working at the studios were highly motivated, showing great creativity as well as an impressive knowledge of live services. “However, I also felt that there was room for improvement from a business perspective with regard to areas such as the use of business expenses and assuming accountability for development timelines. I hope to continue the dialogue and come up with some good solutions.” That’s pointed at executives not developers or the quality of the game. They’re greedy like all corporate executives and create many of the problems the articles are referring to. Maybe step back and actually read my posts and the articles you post before thinking it has anything to do with active players or the quality of the DLCs. Are you really this dense?

Are you??? When people say "Bungie" We are tlaking about Bungie as a whole. That mean upper -blam!- management as well, you absolute genius. Lightfalls campaign was terrible, the character designs were terrible, the pacing was terrible. Thats all dev issues, you absolute genius. Bungie is hemorrhaging money, and thats an actual fact. "Duuuuur how dey have muney for all free stuff give us?!?!?" Oh i dunno, the 100+ layoffs. The pulling of the pvp dept and negelcting that entire playerbase, even though they promised to dedicate an entire team to it. Uh, debt? 3.6 billion Sony dollars? The point is, Sony is not happy with BUNGIE. PERIOD. If FINAL SHAPE DOESNT MEET PROPHET GOALS there will be MORE LAY OFFS as stated in both articles.

Strand is brilliant. The missions were a ton of fun. The weapons were excellent. Some of the best seasonal content happened this year. The only let down was the story and how it was delivered. They posted record numbers for 6 months because of what I just stated. Numbers atm the moment are excellent too. Not declining and bad numbers but numbers that were better than the year previous with WQ. Bet money FS shatters this years numbers and you’ll be right there playing.
