There's a few things to take away here.
I really like that the raid isn't the story climax... definitely beneficial to be able to conclude the saga individually and let everyone experience it themselves!
This does mean the story will have some extension... which is nice as well. I feel the raid against the witness might be just the means to separate it/them for the traveller (an exorcism of sorts).
The main campaign (+another quesr line) being available to complete in 3 days is a little disappointing; suggests that there isn't much to it, or it will need to be rushed through. 8 main missions on previous expansions doesn't seem like much, but the side quests really did flesh them out into a full and immersive experiences... this will be lacking for all those looking to raid day 1
In a game where a lot of things are time gated, it seems strange to go in the other direction.... it would be an unnecessary delay (perhaps) for the non-raiders (like myself), but that said it would have been okay (personally speaking, I'm used to it).

Did you read what they said? Lol It's very much a part of the story,so much so that they need to release 3 days later to conclude the light and dark saga so the Echoes arc can start June 11th(2nd week)

'For non-raiders there will be opportunity to conclude the saga sometime after the raid'. I get what's happening with story progression and don't have issue... timing seems hurried for those wanting to raid though.

If they don't push content out Sony will take over,TFS is make or break Bungie at this point.Thats why all the resent changes, why they started somewhat listening to the community after years of us asking for things etc etc.
