Even though the Sword Logic was false Oryx demands some respect for establishing himself as the better amongst his siblings and believing in it so strongly that he could believe that perhaps he wasn’t a part of the Final Shape and just a stepping stone for those who were.
Ironically he managed to do what the Precursors failed to do.
Savathûn has always been a character motivated by selfishness while Xivu has been overly emotional.
Eris is more than the Hive persona.

The sword logic is a theory. I don't know if it has fully been proven false though.

Sword Logic isn’t a theory, it’s a belief. The Hive don’t seek to prove it, they seek to prove themselves by it. Guardians usurped Oryx utilising Bomb Logic by releasing the corrupted Light Oryx had gathered for Akka, thereby proving that the Sword Logic was not the true measure of worth. This is why Savathûn betrayed the Witness and turned to the Light. Once Oryx was dead she had her proof and began to seek solutions to her Worm’s Hunger.

But there are also instances where the Sword Logic had to be proven true. When the Vex invaded the throne, they created a Vex mind to use the sword logic in order to fight against the paracausal forces that would have otherwise been to strong. Quria, Blade Transform, used Sword Logic to gain a foot hold in Oryx’s Throne World. That being said though, this was a Throne World, determined by Oryx, so the major rule he imparted, witch he also must follow, was that of the Sword Logic, so it could still be said that outside of the unique location of Oryx’s Throne World, the Sword Logic is otherwise false.

Actually Quria didn’t create too much of a foothold within the Throne World itself. The issue was that the Vex under Quria had set up on the other side of the tear into Oryx’s Throne and held it open, putting both sides into a stalemate where the Hive couldn’t close the tear from their side and lost too much power when they went to the other side while Quria was gradually gaining information and even capturing Worm Larvae. The example specifically disproves that Sword Logic is a universal thing, because the mechanics of Oryx’s Throne are separate to reality. It’s similar to how Crota’s Throne was built on a very literal Sword Logic, where only the proven Swords of his champions could harm him. Just look at the Eliksni or Cabal, they don’t get stronger by killing, because the strength the Hive gain is a consequence of feeding their Worms.

No it's a theory there is no proven fact that it is a working principle it was tested by the hive, but proven not to work when we bested oryx and sav.
