I figured that was the case and yea i probably should have read those checkbox' more thoroughly. I just wish there was a way to prove on a case by case appeal that i had no intent of locking out an account of 7+ years with all payed DLC, including the upcoming Final Shape, eververse purchases with silver still in the account, all to commmit some sort of fraud with a blank XBox account. I guess what i'm saying is i missed those check-boxes because i could not fathom my main account could possibly be locked out in the first place by enabling cross-play. *sigh* wish there was some way to contact an actual support human via Bungie Help to appeal my case but it seems here is the best place to try and do so. Sucks it seems i'm gonna miss out on The Final Shape majority start that i paid for because i made a mistake in creating a hypothetical account that i now have to commit to using because my main account of 7+ (sorry to keep harping on the number but i mean...) is locked to prevent fraud that i couldn't see coming. Yea, i was too hasty clicking those checkmarks so i guess it's on me. Just sucks there's no official way to appeal like there are for other mistakes.

One thing you'll want to watch out for is signing into your account while on a platform you purchased TFS on as the passes will be applied to the active character - which in your case will be your Xbox characters. This also applies to the annual pass edition but in that case all 3 passes and the dungeon key will be applied.

heh, looks like i already screwed that up then as i have no other way to access the game since i'm already locked out of my main Steam account. I guess i could create a new Steam account but that kinda seems pointless at this point. *sigh* thanks for the help/heads up though.

You'll be fine for now as TFS hasn't launched; you'll just need to make sure that you fix cross-save before signing into D2 on Steam while Xbox is your active so they aren't applied

yea, i already messed up and did that with the XBox account since i can see the pre-order items are available at the corresponding vendors. so i guess i'm locked into the XBox account for now. I didn't really see another way besides creating an entirely new Steam Profile. oh well..
