you could also make it to where you cant even get a direct hit with the sticky grenades and it just bounces off guardians and it only does damage once one is stuck to a surface as you can probably tell i just think the sticky grenade has major potential if it just had some tweaks

you could also just double the sticky grenade damage while stuck to a surface, because the for the other grenade types the impact and blast damage are about the same with blast damage doing 1 point less. and again you cant even kill a gaurdian with 2 grenades because of it only doing blast damage. while you could if you get 2 direct hits with others. i just really like the concept of controlling a point with sticky grenades. besides the fuse time is short anyway so you still have to be smart about when you place a sticky grenade. besides its a special weapon and it does less than a bow body shot. even lightweight bows do more damage on body

if it were up to me i would make sticky grenades deal impact damage as well as blast damage while they are stuck to a surface

as for the framerate issue on the pve side it also is affected by frames. which would explain why the perk feels inconsistent

so it turns out recombination works in pvp BUT ONLY on low framerate. AND it still doesnt affect sticky grenades though. heres the normal grenade types with high and low framerate (in that order) [url]https://youtu.be/8mf9Y6lIOVg[/url] [url]https://youtu.be/pA8sFXkz0Fg[/url] and the sticky grenades in the same order [url]https://youtu.be/WE4SQuQ95Yk[/url] [url]https://youtu.be/f3edTps6coM[/url] i dont think making it work with sticky grenades would be unbalanced since normal sticky grenades even with max stacks dont 1 shot this may be because it only accounts for impact damage rather then explosive damage. seeing how they both do about the same damage just 1 point off. if you make recombination affect the blast damage rather than the impact damage it would have about the same damage just less technically. and the blast damage works whether you get a direct hit or just get a hit splash damage. since the blast damage affects both scenarios.

this is the pve sticky grenade video. at about 20 seconds in the recombination sticky grenade explosion does 25,983 damage. then i fire another grenade without recombination and it explodes at around 30 seconds and it also has 25,983 damage. i can get the pve video for the sticky grenades not working. but the pvp side of both sticky grenades and regular mountaintop grenades will take a bit since i need help from another player
