PvP from a vet that cares less but wow
Hey PvP team can you understand that the only “skill” in your game is positional awareness. I say this because your whole game is a game mode in a plethora of other shooters. Your game is a BIG mode of the “fiesta” game mode in any other shooter. Any other shooter does not weight skill on a fiesta game mode. How can you? In a standard fiesta mode the game gives you random guns every respawn, here players can bring their own fiesta to the match and mind you switch at will. How can one weight “SKILL” on randomness?? Hence this is not an esports game. So why PvP strike team is the whole game skill based in PvP??!!! Any logic here?

5 RepliesI’ve been playing a lot again recently and with the march update now that it’s settled it’s been pretty fun. There is still forced losses but other than that it’s kinda balanced now that hunter strand has been nerfed I’ve been farming 3 hunter teams in elim and it’s so fun.

It’s not randomness. You see what people are using and how they’re playing and try to counter that. Skill is not just about positioning, but also strategy. It’s about knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your loadout, as well as your enemies’ loadouts. It’s about making best use of the many tools available. It’s also about reaction speed and quick decision making — Destiny is a fast paced game with lots of things happening that you have to account for. The aim assist might be generous, but there are many ways to make yourself hard to hit and plenty of players who don’t land their shots. Skill is an important part of Destiny PvP. Anyone who doesn’t believe that should watch a low skill player vs a high skill player — it’s night and day! -
11 RepliesUntil controller aim assist is reigned in suggesting there's skill in pvp is laughable. It's cheesing with the weapon thats automatically glued to heads most effectively and pretending it's you aiming.

Any logic here?[/quote] So because I have a “high kd” I’m skilled??????? wtf I lose every game that’s not skilled if I lose every game. Dudes with a 80% win rate 1.5 kd are “SKILLED” because they win GAMES!!! Why isn’t win rate more weighted on “Skill” rather than kd or kda?????

28 RepliesSo what do you recommend it be based on? What is the goal you hope to achieve with that new way? (not trolling generally interested in what folks think PVP is about and how to do it better) I've varied on my feelings on PVP greatly but right now enjoying 6s.
