Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 4/28/2024 1:06:03 AMAgreed. My clan/friends group have dismissed dungeons as being something not worth farming, and now barely even running all. Get the exotic and then never touch it again. Or in some cases they don’t bother at all. Whereas with raids we all know we’ll get our red borders slowly over time so we keep playing them, and then we know other people will slowly get them over time so we help others that don’t have then all yet, and help new players from friends of friends, etc. Dungeons are the least friendly multiplayer aspect of this game because the weapon farm is just SO unbelievably bad and disrespectful to player time and effort that they are off putting.

You'd still need 5 with red borders.

Better that thn nothing aye -
Well, no. If they aren't dropping now, how long would it take to obtain 5 with red borders?

Thats not the discussion here -
The original post was talking about armor dropping instead of weapons dropping. So it is the discussion actually. Making weapons craftable will not solve the problem of getting weapons over armor drops. You have less of a chance to craft a weapon when you need 5 rng red border weapons to drop before you can even craft the weapon. So yes craftable weapons are better than trying to farm a particular roll but making them craftable does not solve the problem of getting armor over weapon at the end of an activity.

No dude... you are making a discussion out of this... i couldnt care less if you farm for patterns. The fact that it could be craftable is already worth multiple godrolls... -
I agree, but it is not what the topic of the post was about. It was about the low drop rate of weapons compared to armor. So again, if you aren't getting weapon as of now, imagine needing 5 with red frames that are also rng based. I get your point. Yes, craftable is better, but it does not solve the problem of drop rate. What you're debating over is not the original topic of the post and does nothing to fix drop rate of getting weapons over armor. Making them craftable combined with the already existing problem of terrible drop rate would potentially make crafting them even harder. That's all

That would be the best option, especially sense pretty much all raids have craftable weapons
