Yeah imo vostok seems to be easiest at least for me, you got a lot of cover when needed and it's very open when needed...not too open like mothyatds where it's pretty difficult.
As for enemies I find the fallen the easiest oy because you don't gotta deal with ogres and wizards that seem to have infinite range

They all have pros and cons. The hive also have Shiekers which can be very annoying as they might spawn just above you without you necessarily noticing which might be a death sentence on later waves in legend. But the Fallen have invis and shielding servitors. Midtown is smaller and has more choke points but it's super difficult to toss the ball back to the ADU at cap point C (I believe it is C) whereas Mothayrds lets you plan in advance and often intercept enemies before they come anywhere near your zone. You just have to adjust your loadouts and tactics.

I prefer Midtown due to narrow lanes and Hive as they don't turn invisible in contrast to Fallen.
