Checkmate in 3v3 feels like a bad idea

I came back after a longer break to a reworked special economy in PvP. How exactly is this supposed to improve it? Special seems to be just as present in 3v3 as I was used to (ignoring the dumb experiments of the last two weeks), now you just dont know anymore, whether your enemy has some or dont. Taking a fight with primary feels like a gamble. You pretty much always have to expect, that the enemy has ammo and will punish you with a shotgun when you push. You cant reliably bait out shots, keep track of the opponent's ammo count. The only effect this has (from what I experienced in the few hours Ive played with the new system in place) is, that it makes matches even more campy, because people are more afraid to push. In my opinion, that is the exact opposite direction Crucible should go. In 6v6 it doesnt really matter, because there is no keeping track of enemies' ammo in the first place, it might even make it less campy, because Id say it isnt as easy to get ammo from the end of the map as it is in the action. In 3v3, it should stay as it was: 2 shots in the beginning of a match. At best no refill and no unnecessary waste of time by letting us walk two meters to some boxes to get it (whatever the -blam!- this was supposed to achieve). The impact/importance of special weapons in PvP is not fixable, because their existence is the problem in the first place, but primary only with TTKs that high and radar erasing the surprise effect from the equation would lead to the campy mess of Y1. The fundamentals are flawed and Crucible will never be good. Dont make it even worse by making the flawed mechanics unreliable as well.
