Iron banner matchmaking is still such BS!
I know nothing about how servers/matchmaking works and I’ve seen responses on a few other topics related to this explaining it. But I still stand by the fact that it sucks. The whole crucible is like this, but not to Iron banner levels of suck. Normal control and mayhem playlist, you sometimes get decent or actually GOOD matchups back to back, win or lose. With iron banner, one can’t just ignore the fact that every time you get matched in an already started game you get paired with some bots getting wrecked. Yes I do get matched against players on “my level of play”. The thing is… not my teammates and that makes it impossible to enjoy this event. Like, you get ONE good equal matchup and it’s nice, win or lose, you enjoy it because both teams were on that same level of play but then either bungie breaks it up or you or some others end up leaving and the next like 7-8 games is complete f*ing chaos, I say 7-8 ‘cause I’ve not lasted longer enduring that suffering(no diddy). And it’s EVERY TIME, there has to be something with the matchmaking, this can’t be “just how it is” because if it is… pfffft it really sucks. I’m not looking for an explanation, I’ve already seen a few others. I just wanted to leave my “feedback”.

Lol, it’s especially awesome when you get a good team for once and then afterwords it breaks up the team. Can’t make that up.

Its just destiny players in general who need 5 seconds for their brains to register that there’s a moving enemy in front of them. But I’m not really allowed to complain about random matchmaking.

Destiny PvP is one of the biggest failures of any major PvP out there. These guys have been trying forever to get more people to play it, and it's just insane because why the F would anyone want to play this at this point in time? I'm a 1.82KDA this season in IB, and it's just match after match of absolute garbage balance. Leavers everywhere. Not a single balanced match for ages. I get literally one close game in 20 or even 30. Please help me understand how the people that do matchmaking still have jobs doing this? A simple KDR + KDA + Career Kills skill algorithm would be miles and miles and miles and miles better than whatever the heck they have going. This is some of the worst matchmaking I have ever seen in my life. I routinely boot D2 up and then already have shut it down 10 minutes later. I also refuse to ever buy silver again because they literally just don't deserve it. I'd rather give Apex Legends 100 dollars if that tells you anything lmao. It's weird because you hardly see this issue talked about on Reddit, yet it's completely ubiquitous and every solo player sees it. Populations are super low outside the muppets and neckbeards. I was playing my Warlock for fun this season, but even I have given up on this game. They literally have no idea what they are even doing. It's just endless and I mean ENDLESS experimentation. For everything but matchmaking, which is apparently just fine and dandy I guess lol.
