Just to clarify as I had done testing on it earlier this season (my previous thread is no longer here for some reason) as it is still one of my favorite exotics, and it will absolutely one-shot Barrier Champions unless they are of the Vex Hobgoblin variety. You will need to hit their critical zone for this to happen, due to the increased damage from First Glance. However since Hobgoblins will crouch and hide their critical zone, it is not possible to one-shot unless you frame perfect the shot just before they crouch to stun them. I ran this testing specifically in Master Lost Sectors so it should hold up for most content, versus an Ikelos Sniper with Radiant active and Indebted Kindness. The Ikelos Sniper just barely did less damage than Eriana's Vow and so was able to break the barrier on a precision hit. Although, my argument did hold up for Indebted Kindness, as it did not need such accuracy and additionally has better ammo economy than Eriana's Vow, so I would like to see a buff to it in PvE even if it is just increased reserves but it is technically still viable.
