9 Years of Destiny and I Have Finally Met My Friend IRL
I met this person during The Taken King and we have been friends since, even when the game was at its worst. They have been there for me at my darkest times. My family and I planned to go on a mini vacation. We happened to be about 3-3.5 hours apart and decided before I went on my flight that we would meet for the first time for dinner.
Well worth the few hours it took to meet halfway.
To my friend if you are reading this, Ill see you in orbit for Pantheon tomorrow!

I got to meet a few of my d2 friends a few years ago. Was awesome! Already had lots to talk about. Got to chill with my friend group at the foodie places we talk about all the time. Was awesome.

Drove 8 hours to spend the weekend with my online buddy of many years. Met his family and hung out - it was great!

I've only met in person, 1 person that I've met through Destiny, and that's because we live about 6 miles apart. The next closest people would be somewhere in the 12-hour range or more. Can't seem to find the time these days to make that kind of trip though.
