If you ever make a post that rightfully points out overtuning in the game, like the new Zero Hour on Legend for example and someone comments ‘skill issue’, just look at the stat tracker for their seasonal levels. The vast majority of the time, you will see that this person claiming ‘skill issue’ is a Paragon, has an average seasonal level of 300s and 400s and has a bunch of raid titles done; a poor, sorry soul that really doesn’t have anything better to do with their time than play Destiny, and clearly doesn’t know that many, MANY other, much better games exist.

  • So, I get the rationale, and obviously people just saying "skill issue" is neither helpful nor is it even attempting to view the other person as a fellow human being, but you do have to understand that the challenging content is supposed to be challenging. It's difficult for a lot of players to feel fulfilled if there isn't some inherent challenge to the activity, and before you say it, no, self imposed challenged like "running through with all blues and a bad subclass setup" are not the same thing. For players who get to that high level, if there isn't a challenge, it all becomes monotonous, samey grind fests. And those players are not having trouble with zero hour. Most of those players are capable of soloing zero hour.
