Big ones spec was the one PVE adept mod that made getting an Adept NF weapon something to work for. Now that the mod will be removed, what is truly the point of doing a GM other than the title? Adept range? Many other Adept mod hurt your other stats so what is actually beneficial about having an Adept weapon? Raid adept weapons perks can be enhancable so that's something to grind for. Now are we going to be able to retroactively enhance the perks on NF adepts we acquired through all years of the GM sweating?
It seems like all that time investment was wasted when now the adept versions will have the same damage output as the normal versions. So again I ask what is the point of GMNF adepts? Why did we waste all that time getting them? How do I walk away from this change without feeling like I wasted so much time and effort?

Edited by MrMac: 5/16/2024 6:31:54 PMI use Adept Big Ones mostly wtih my heavy weapons, i.e. Unwavering Duty Heavy Machine Gun (Trials) and to me, it's not a big deal. Maybe. I don't know how this will affect me in the near future. Although, I have other heavy weapons that use more, like the Seventh Seraph Saw with auto loading and vorpal. Right now, I think most Adept weapons are being used for PvP to be able to take advantage of better perks like range, handling, stability, etc. If you ask me, every other adept perk is geared for PvP and the only PvE perk is Adept Big Ones. And they're taking it away? Might as well not offer adept weapons for PvE high level activities then. It's not worth it. Just offer adept weapons as rewards in PvP modes. I say create a set of PvE adept perks.
