I came back to destiny after about a year. hopped into pvp. Big nope, everyone else felt like pvp gods using handcannons or pulses. Then I was like ok let's try some pve. Hopped into the mission for the strand exotic bow, got absolutely torn apart. But I kept going and got to the boss room. As soon as I stepped in I died in maybe 2 to 3 seconds. The only way I was able to beat it was using my super, die, rinse and repeat until it was dead. Then i found out that i need to run it again at a higher difficulty and i was like hell no. When did parts of this game become nearly impossible for solo casual players, and I have no intention of spending hundreds if not thousands of hours into this game to git gud. And looking at this forum, a lot of you people are incredibly toxic. So go rip me apart in the comments idgaf. This game is -blam!-

The "New Light" experience is the worst part of this game and it is so neglected that it is a wonder how this game has any new players at all. The story is in shambles and there is barely any explanation of how anything works, newbies getting tossed to the wolves and expected to tackle the new "improved" difficulty content with no clue on how exotic to ability synergies even work. I could not reasonably recommend this game to anyone, even though I genuinely enjoy it, which is a terrible feeling. Bungie really needs to work on this aspect far more than they realize, as it seems to be the lowest priority on their radar.
