I agree with your declaration that this game isn't friendly to new players. I disagree with your justifications as to why. There's a ton wrong with the game, especially for a New Light/returning player, but everything you laid out as your reasoning is something a new player isn't expected to reasonably tackle. Even a returning player coming back after a year or more of changes is going to have issues doing what you did, and perhaps the only fault of the game in this regard is that it doesn't do a good job of directing new/returning players to more appropriate areas of the game. If you had said that there was no real indication that content wasn't meant to be ran before earlier, easier content is done first I'd agree with you. Destiny is terrible at directing players on where to go if you haven't been playing every week since release. But you didn't. Instead you ranted about how you're 80 points under level and how the players are all toxic, so I can't abide this bad faith message. So many legitimate reasons to have major problems with this game and you choose the worst way to express and justify it. I award you no points.
