I cannot get Defiant Engrams from activities other then the Defiant Battle Grounds and even the Defiant Battle Grounds activity does not always drop me the engrams. I do not know why this is happening as I have the Acsendant Scepter from Season of Defiant in my Quest invintory When I look at the Engram Tracker in my invintory it says Reactivate Defiant Engram or Deep Engram rewards at the War Table or the Sonar Station in the H.E.L.M I do not understand why this is happening as I own the deluxe edition of Lightfall and all the DLCs before it. I am not sure when this started happening and I need to get Defiant Engrams to get 2 more craftable weapons from Season of Defiance and the weapons I still need do not drop from the seasons activity as they are the Goldtusk (Hunter Sword) and Death's Razor (Warlock Sword) that only come from Recovered Leviathan Weapons Pulls at the War Table This is the same on all 3 of my characters
