Your only option is to run the boss on the master version of the raid the weapon drops from to pull more rolls (Which could take weeks to come into rotation) then dismantle the weapon once you get a replacement or run it without a masterwork. With damage mods going away, you can use Adept stat mods to emulate a masterwork, but even with that the gun is still worse in every way than the crafted version. There really isn't any reason to hang onto these bugged weapons if Bungie isn't going to fix them because of that. At the time of writting, you can also beat Nezarec in Pantheon week 4 and pull more Rufus's adept for spoils, that is the fastest solution at the moment to getting another roll. After Pantheon week 4 goes away RoN is the featured raid next week, but since Final Shape comes out no one will be high enough light level to run master version (or will probably want to with the new raid coming out) so you'll be waiting 8 weeks for it to come back as the featured raid.
