Bungie, we need a 3rd darkness class. We have only 2 darkness subclasses and 3 light subclasses. One thing I have learned is that there must always be balance. Between light and dark. That is the rule of the universe. Never more or less than on another. 3v3. The community wants it. This is factual. It's the trend. It's what your players want to see. Everyone bump this ASAP. We want and need a 3rd darkness subclass.

Stasis Strand Shadow That was the plan.

I wish, but then what would the red subclass even be? Stasis was more like a form of subjugation as it locks you in place as if you were frozen and it forced you into an inescapable position till you break free or die. In the FS trailer what the witness did to the last city was a form of stasis I think but I think his might be permanent. Strand was manipulation of the weave of life and could tangle things up in it like a spiderweb or unravel beings all together. What would the final darkness attribute be then Alteration? Defilement? Some form of Finality? Honestly none of these really work.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 6/1/2024 3:28:24 AMI’m sure at one point we will. After reading Chris Procter article on weapons he mentioned planning for another 2-3 years for weapons in D2. The red subclass was never a thing and Prismatic is what they were designing.

Technically void should be a dark subclass
-
hmm... Strand = Dark Stasis = Dark Solar = Light Ark = Light Void = Dark! The dark side is winning!? no wait... Guardian = Light 😉
-
I myself don't mind having more light than darkness
-
Shouldn't the current two darkness subclasses be put back in the oven to finish baking.
-
For what? after the final, even more people will leave the game...(well, if you make a subclass only for streamers)
-
Absolutely. When I saw it wasn’t coming on final shape I was so disappointed. Then I saw the warlock prismatic aspect and super options and completely gave up any hope of having any actual fun lmao

Chances are the origin of Prismatic falls under darkness.
