Serious Question About Server Traffic

Someone here explain it to me like I'm five. I like to think I'm a pretty smart dude, but I don't understand the technical reason behind the random drops. Once you're connected, unless your Internet has some drop, you've taken a spot in the overall network seating arrangement, correct? I understand not being able to get in, but I don't understand why it's like I'm constantly in the process of getting booted by 'Contacting Destiny Servers'. The only way this makes sense to me is if you're literally having your 'spot' replaced. I'm an engineer, but I'm no network engineer. Where my Dawgs at?

  • As an accounting major here’s my input- idk I’m just the accountant. If I was on the accounting dept at bungie I’d be clocked out by now. Not my problem just document your overtime for your screw ups- hope this helps!
