There's an Auto, Pulse, and HC as the major contenders and I think that's great. [b]The balance has been quite nice [i]unless you're a bow or sniper main[/i]. [/b]
We have all been damage glitched. Or experienced moments where you're not synced properly with the opponent engaging you. I find this class of weapon to be egregious. [u]Mostly Elsie's with headseeker. [/u]
With that said. I am aware khvostov is still crazy and Rose is extremely powerful if it will drop you the right roll.
I don't want them butchered. A slight tweak

Pulses feel like trash now to me, and this is coming from a pulse user.

Dude, hand cannons and shotguns are way more of a problem. Look at most used pvp weapons rn. All hand cannons, shotguns, 2 auto rifles, and 2 pulses. The most used weapon class by far is hand cannons. They need to buff pulse rifles, especially scout rifles. Igneous Hammer outguns most scouts.
