Lets keep this simple... If you wanted it back, drop a comment saying so and downvote,
if you wanted gone, leave a upvote or a comment saying so.
Maybe i'm officially clinically insane, but this seems like the most unwanted thing they could have done.

No sane person wanted another LL/Power increase. It serves as nothing more as an arbitrary grind for player engagement without any true reward for chasing it. It's 2024, the year of our lord, and it just needs to be done with and sunset with half of the other outdated content that doesn't see the light of day anymore. If Bungie wants to see true player engagement, have more people spend more time, they need to go back to the tried and true method they used back in D1: loot. They could make or bring back Strike-themed weapons and armor. Hell, even bring in some of the cool ones we saw back in TTK like Ma'ul's Maulers. They could increase the stat distribution of Artifice Armor drops so people can have the incentive to go for the armor and not feel deflated when getting a sub-60 stat spread from their Master run. Maybe even do the same for Raid armor so old raids feel inviting. This day and age, only a fraction of the playerbase have actually touched (let alone even want to) Garden of Salvation and Ghosts of the Deep is hardly on folks' bucket lists. For Christ's sake, there are exotic ornaments from back in Faction Rallies that haven't come back in any manner and while granted that they are terribly minuscule in their visual changes, loot is still loot. This may very well be the last era of Destiny if they still can't manage to turn things around. What does it matter if they bring back old armor ornaments and other such things from the earlier days of D2? They need to stop focusing on their same old outdated model for releasing "Seasons" and only marginally changing the PvP environment. They need to break out of the mold and really shake things up. And if their upper management doesn't wanna listen to them and nobody's got the spine to tell them that they're dumbfücks for unwittingly(assumingly) burning their IP's reputation as if it were a good 'ole southern book burning, that's all they will be remembered for. There are talented developers, designers and art/music teams that have worked at Bungie, make no mistake. They can turn this ship around even if it's covered in holes and barely batched up with ducttape, spit and the long hours of feeling burned out throughout the work week. But somebody has take hold of the steering wheel and set it on the right course. And if nobody from Bungie will, somebody from Sony will make sure to do so even if they have to steer it into a proverbial iceberg.
