Also, i know making a new damage type is very demanding but...the 3rd Darkness class can be Resonance as Solar, guys. It's the particle effects and sound design that we actually care about, not the damage type and coding of the new damage type into things like weapon damage and resistances.
Also, definitely tap into the Pyramid Scale sound identity for the super sound effects IF we can get Resonance. The roar from those things using Resonance in Season of Arrivals Contact was primal and bone chilling when I first heard them.
But yeah. Pls think on it guys 👍

Bungo knows Stasis was a mistake.

I have some ideas for Titan Stasis Run around punching stuff with ice Strand Run around punching stiff with Mountain Dew
-
Really late to the party on this one. Strand is in a perfectly useable state on all 3 classes. The problem with Strand, is that it's too focused on creating Tangles. Hunter doesn't benefit from Tangles outside of being able to go fast with Grapple. (Also, amazing how it took almost 9 years for Bungie to make an actual Grapple mechanic in Destiny huh) Stasis (with the exclusion of the new "Episode") is honestly a joke in all aspects. Stasis was highly overtuned upon release, and suffered major nerfs which turned it into an afterthought of a Subclass. If they wanted to make Stasis good again, (pending results from the new "Episode") they'd have to not be afraid of Stasis running rampant in PvE. PvP is another can of worms, and one I'll be staying away from.

Kinda linked, but only since we're talking about darkness sub classes: Do we still have darkness zones in the game, or are they just respawn restricted areas now?? If darkness zone still exist, we should get buffs for running darkness sub classes! Could have light zones as well; offer a balance in game play where certain zones are a lot harder/easier dependent upon your subclass (or equipped super).
-
Bungo read this. They don’t care. Laughing at current time of their 3 major light subclasses and their supers.
-
So badly
-
Not just supers, they both also need an extra melee option. Warlocks and hunters also need another melee option on their void subclass.

Edited by llSpAxXll: 10/6/2024 10:16:52 AMPosted this in another similar topic. This far only the stasis idea’s. Titan:
Behemoth’s Graupel
The Titan summons a massive single ball of ice to be hurled at your enemies. It will flatten any red bars, majors and yellow bars. But when it collides with a champion, mini boss or Boss the ball explodes doing massive shatter damage leaving serval ‘broken’ stasis shards behind. Press super to summon the bolder to be held up. Move around and line up the target(s) and press melee to launch it. One-and-done super. Hunter:
Revenant’s Sickles
Wield your 2 Kamas as weapons in your hands. Cleaving trough your enemies hits will slow/freeze your initial targets, kills will cause a slow field eruption adding slow to any lingering targets around. As an alternative attack you can throw your two sickle kamas as boomerangs towards targets doing the same damage profile. Another alternative attack is to jump in the air and come slamming down that will slow targets as well, or shatter already frozen targets. Roaming super with rapid range and jump attack options. Instant slow and freeze abilities. Crowd control super. Warlock:
Quora’s Storm
Your prenumbral blasts becoming overcharged with slow and adds a hailstorm effect. Shooting your melee attack at targets will attach a slow/freezing mini storm that also spreads and damages the effect to any other targets touched by the storm. Your grenade has a similar effect either consuming it and create a massive storm of similar fashion around yourself taking it with you, granting you a mobile ‘well of radiance’ like super. It will also provide Damage resistance and frost armor while slowing and damaging targets around you. As an alternative Throwing the grenade will do the same massive Storm but in the location of your choosing. Allowing to act as a focal point at the location of your choosing. Semi-mobile super but also can be fixed in to position and linger/focus on key defensive points. Provides Damage resistance in the form of continuous frost armor build up while in the storm. Adding surges build for lingering within the storm. Just some idea’s been thinking off for alternative stasis supers. The names are based of certain frost and ice elements to remain in the theme of ice. 😉

Yes we do, particularly on Titan as GQ and BF are so boring and ineffective. BF is alright is Crucible but that's about it. We need more stasis and Strand grenades and melees too.

Edited by Sylok, The Defiled!: 10/6/2024 7:15:31 AMNot a super idea, but having another stasis melee would be really cool for warlock. Penumbral Shatter- Slam your staff into the ground causing a shockwave that shatters nearby stasis crystals & frozen targets. - maybe applies slow to nearby targets that aren't frozen in addition as well? I love the warlock super with sending out shockwaves and such, just hate the projectile and how limiting it is. Slamming your staff would look like the Season of the Witch staff finisher/ how it did when you started savathun's spire. Edit: Maybe warlocks can have the opposite of well of radiance ......-Plunge your staff into the ground causing a blizzard to engulf the area in a wide radius. Or instead of a blizzard, have it send out shockwaves out in a large radius (like a super juiced vesper) where you freeze as many targets as possible and your stationary staff will shatter them as you're going on a freezing spree. Just some thoughts.

Edited by Joulevette12: 10/5/2024 8:41:04 PMSome ppl don't know Titan had a awesome prototype Strand concept of them having a Strand Minigun yet Bungie scaped it and gave them another melee super still IMO worst decision to do. Stasis Titan- throws a large Stasis javelin at any location or enemy and spawn a large stationary blizzard storm that freezes, slow and shatter. (similar to hunters Gathering Storm) *Standing in the storm grant max frost armor. Hunter- roaming super that Summon a giant Stasis scythe that can launch Stasis projectiles that freeze and shatters (Similar to warlock dawnblade) *Stasis Projectiles create Stasis crystals on surfaces. *Scythe do increase damage to crystal and frozen players. Warlock - summon 2 medium Stasis orbs and throws them one by one then summons one giant orb then throws it as a final attack. (It's like a combination of Twilight Arsenal and Nova bomb) * All three orbs freeze and shatters. *Shattered orbs leave behind Stasis crystals on surfaces. (think clust bombs) *Final orb does more direct and shatter damage then the previous two and shatters all crystal in the impact area as extra damage. Lol I tried 🤣🤷

Don't forget about Arc Warlock. Worst supers in the game. Please get rid of the new arc hunter super Storms Edge. It's way over powered for pvp.
-
Edited by SirEman80: 10/6/2024 12:53:44 AMDon’t need a new darkness subclass… we need a new CLASS called Lightless which uses nanites and splicer tech. Let us choose to play as Eliksni too. Stasis and Strand supers would be dope too. Always thought Titan should summon a giant Atlas spirit bomb type attack with stasis
-
Titan stasis super where they throw a big -blam!- off glacier at a mf
-
Give Titans a Celestial Nighthawk Diamond Lance Do it, Bungie
-
Remember tho thunder crash still takes the longest to acquire…
-
I always thought of something called Wrath. Kind of the "blood drinker" type of subclass.
-
Half the supers in the game do literally the same thing, we don't need more
-
Edited by Ghostfire239: 10/5/2024 11:29:45 AMI just want Stasis Hunter to do what Solar Titans did. Mini hammers -> 1 Big Hammer Mini Scythes -> 1 Big Scythe I don’t even care if the super is meh, I just want a scythe super on Hunter. We got the skull helmet, we got the cloak, now we just need the scythe.
-
Resonance won't be "solar," it will be its own thing. Just as Stasis is the "opposite" of Solar and Strand is the "opposite" of Arc, Resonance would have to be the "opposite" of Void. Which, frankly, would make a lot of sense. I would have preferred that to Prismatic conceptually, but they needed something big to bring people back to the game.
-
I wish the strand super for hunter was something other than whipping around a long rope or chain.
-
Warlock Strand Super "Become The Weave", Warlock transforms into a giant Hatchling, able to seek and devour targets, or hold down super buttons for singular massive damage explosion
-
Yes a Multiple Decoy Spam strand super and Nerf the Titan even more for Artificial Hunter cheapness supremacy
-
No we dont....current ones are OP for hunters n crayon eaters.....warlocks are trash.
