Haha, you thought you could just leave? haha, hahahahahahahahaha...

even if it was a half decent lawsuit, maybe they shouldn't have waited until 10 years after the release of the red war, when it's not even in the game anymore.
-
Don’t worry guys, I won’t let that happen
-
i thought the whole red war thing isn’t even in the game anymore

Terrible case, they have zero chance of winning. What a joke. It’s almost as bad as Nintendo suing for people for basic video game mechanics -
Some of the things they are suing for are really basic sci-fi concepts and tropes present in a bunch of other stories going as far back as Rome.
Inb4 permavacation Nice knowing y'all.
Nah you’ll be fine, they’re not that petty.

Prob to late to have a effect

Well the problem is that Dominus Ghaul's character and rise to power were based off of Roman History and a lot of historical figures (plus a ton of old writing tropes that are super saturated). So unless Marius and Sulla are suing there's really not too much of a case.

I just read through the case file. The plaintiff will definitely have a chance with a jury trial. The only thing that they didn't have close similarity to is that the main antagonist in the plaintiff's story didn't kill off the protagonist's feckless 'leader' who was absolutely useless to the overall story, as Destiny 2 did. Outside that, there are too many similarities and parallels to ignore.
