I think one of the main problems in this game, is that its trying to use our level to determine difficulty. Having an enemy damage you while trying to do mechanics is not fun. Killing enemies that have a lot of health and you mess up mechanics because enemies held your attention isn't fun. Being overwhelmed in an encounter is not fun. If my team wipes, I don't want it to be because a TON of enemies are on me or the enemies just hit so much harder. If my team wipes, I want it to be because someone on my team messed up the mechanics. Players should be able to over level and be rewarded in level for just playing. This is what artifact power did but now its USELESS due to players being forced to be under leveled.
I think teams should be able to one phase a boss in a raid if if they just use weaken and rockets and supers instead of doing the Titan rotation of throwing axes, switching to a different loadout to switch to the exotic that sends out rockets. If people want to do that, cool. But this game should have never gotten to the point in NORMAL where people have to do that to get a one phase. We used to get one phases EASILY. Now we can't. Just make it so that if player want to go ALL OUT, put that -5 in MASTER content. Not normal. Also add more mechanics for Master in general. The mechanics shouldn't be the same. Bungie USED to do this but stopped all of a sudden. Artificial difficulty isn't fun. Let us die from messing up mechanics. Make MECHANICS the difficulty. Also follow this idea in ALL content. I don't think Destiny is the type of game to even have a lick of difficulty in casual content like normal unless its endgame.
