I still don't like the tax, in having to upgrade my vault. However... if GMs will always be double loot and rep (at launch), featuring the new weapon? Then, I like it. Then it makes sense to me. I missed the whole first week's pinnacles... except Vesper's, because I was sick. I'm one slot away. So some tips, I don't claim any rewards... engrams below pinnacle, before I complete my pinnacles for the week. Because this messes up the drop cadence. You'll notice if you track it... if you needs boots, what's worse than a dupe... is getting a slot you need at lower power. I've been doing this a long time, refrain from pulling ANYTHING but pinnacles until you complete your drops for the week. Also, Excision is still a pinnacle, I missed those drops until this week. Anywho, IF the Pinnacle pursuit incentivizes the launch of GMs each episode, I'm for it. And some vault upgrade solution once you hit cap. @Bungie... for your consideration. 😇 👍💠 Edit: I need to be clear... I'll blue out with powerfuls, if it helps me... but those are the only drops I pull while I'm completing my pinnacles for the week. I guess that's tip #3. Blue out. Blue'ing out is bringing all your gear slots up to your effective power. And this is really easy to check with the season pass by hovering over an engram showing power. To maximize your pinnacle gains... try to make sure all your slots are at that level. Generally, it's a little more nuanced than that... but that's the easiest way to ensure you'll always get the most out of your pinnacle drops... drops when leveling to hard cap.
