Why do I get in trouble for a network problem?

I got booted from a game because of networking, not because I quit. Then the game said that I quit and shaxx gave me a warning. I understand coding is difficult, but punishing players for internet connections and your servers is not good for a dying game Before I was booted, there were two error codes shown, and I was reconnected each time. Why can't this game recognize the difference between legit networking problems and people quitting. For the record, my internet is fine most of the time, Xfinity just decides to live up to it's name sometimes and be dumb.

  • That's because the game can't determine the difference between your internet going out and someone pulling the plug. If there was no penalty people would do that all the time.
