Ouch.
I often use store bought pita for the "dough" and then add whatever I feel like on top. My favourite for a quick and easy meal is sundried tomatoes, basil, cheese, and whatever lunch meat or pre-cooked meat I have handy.
They cook up quickly under the broiler on a cookie sheet. You basically just need to melt the cheese. Pita freeze well in the store pack, and you don't even have to thaw them first before you cook.
