Today I managed to reset Zavala for the fourth time. As many of you know, resetting these ritual vendors allows their respective ritual weapons to drop with multiple perks in the 3rd and 4th column.
After 81 engrams focused into Wicked Sister, not a SINGLE ONE dropped with Envious Arsenal Bait n Switch. And that is with multiple perks.
Now I know you lovers of rng drops will say thats just bad rng but that’s exactly the point. Why would anyone want to waste so much time chasing something you statistically speaking may never get?
And these 81 engrams I focused were used with multiple perk bonuses enabled. Even if I did get a single one to drop, there’s nothing stopping me from getting a crappy barrel/mag/MW essentially ruining the entire drop.
Now I understand the example I’m using is that of a ritual weapon, which either way these are not even supposed to be craftable but the point I’m trying to make is towards seasonal weapons. Weapons that once the expansion year is over, they’re essentially just gone.
A lot of people tend to overlook one advantage that weapon patterns have and that is all seasonal weapons are available to us for ever. Even tho Season of the Haunted is long gone, I can still go back and craft an Austringer. You can’t do that with this Revenant weapons.
So again, who genuinely enjoys sinking hours and hours chasing a single weapon whose desired perk roll statistically speaking you may never get?
Oh and I’m writing this a bit after the IB shenanigans with Tinasha’s. That legit left me traumatized. Over 65 focused and only 4 Chill Clip and all 4 with reverberation… so yes make fun of me for my bad rng at this point I don’t even care. I’m just trying to make a point.

It would be fine if every single weapon in the game could be crafted - but only if crafted weapons can no longer get enhanced perks (and the new mods). Leave the option to enhance to RNG drops. That way both are valuable. Crafted weapons get you the exact rolls you want. If you want to gamble there is a potential reward for your time.
