4-5 of my first 6 games had a hard cheater today. It's becoming way more rampant even in plain 6s and if I want to leave I get locked out of the Playlist cause of the quitter penalty. This is beyond aggravating

They can't get rid of cheaters as that would tank the pvp numbers. They need all the players they can get!

Hello. I played a handful of games (6v6) yesterday and lo and behold: 1. Cheaters present in all the matches 2. Players on my side left regardless in many of my matches I ended up with just one player in one game. The so called "outlier protection" worked the OPPOSITE 🤣🤣🤣 The bottom line is that players DO NOT CARE about getting a suspension as evidenced yesterday. D2 PvP has become so toxic and flooded with console and hardware cheats that it's clearly not worth playing on for many. Happy Xmas Guardian, have a great New Year!

Cheaters lives matters too.. bungie new motto

Why does the game continue after the timer is over. It was doing that back in the day sometimes but I think that matchmaking was sloppier as far as I can remember.
-
Okay, but why are logging into crucible matches if you know that it's full of cheaters and that you are going to be suspended for quitting? Me? I'm a complete novice who wouldn't know the difference between someone better than me or a cheat so I seldom venture in but when I do I stay because that's the game.
-
I disagree, you shouldn't quit on your team ... see it through and then choose whether to run the activity again.
-
The quitter penalty should stay in this game even if 10 million similarly minded people are playing. The kind of behavior that causes people to quit and cheat comes from places that are too similar. Also, this game with people being upset about supposed degradations in quality, now, is just fascinating.

You sound like you just wanna back out when YOU see fit. I agree there are cheats, but still. You seem accustomed to just leaving when things don't go your way.
-
If you have the option, play PvP on console. Larger pool, no cheaters.
-
They shouldn’t exist to begin with…. But you could always stop playing on pc since that’s where all the cheaters are lol.

maybe I have stockholm syndrome but just enjoy the suspension! its worth a 5 min break when it is bad enough to leave.. I stay through a lot and rarely leave (except some maps I will not play) but sometimes the unbalance is equivalent to cheating too and you go out.. 5 min? 10..20 whatever... walk about, squats, pushups.. breather whatever.. I enjoy it and take the game for what it is mostly (like 65% good matches or if bad I know my fault.. and 35% wtf is goin on)..hmm is that like life...

Edited by kime: 12/21/2024 4:35:57 PMPeople leave the games because they are broken either by cheaters, poor matchmaking, lagging, hit registration issues... All of these are Bungie's fault. They prefer to give penalties to players for their own issues, rather than fixing them
