You label destiny 2 as a free to play but its not. U pay for all the dlcs, dungeons and then u add micro transactions on top of that.
Micro transactions should be the only paid content in free to play games.
Thats not my point though, i bought all ur dlcs im not complaining but if i try to get a friend into d2 all of the old content is still the same price and they are locked out of all old raids, dungeons and even gear.
Either u make the old stuff free permanently (not for a limited time) or u make a dlc bundle thats severely discounted.
Also stop trying to charge us for every -blam!- thing, i didnt do final shape on my other characters but there is an option to skip it all but it costs like 2k silver. Come one now.
That should be free and if y want to charge silver it should be more lime 500 silver not 2k.
The reason ur losing ur player base is because u try to gouge us on everything and give us the buggy bare minimum reskinned crap.
Also why are old ornaments in the store the same silver price as when they first came out? They shoulda dropped in silver from like 2k to 1500 to 700 or so.
Do u guys realise if u priced stuff cheaper in silver that u can actually be making more money cuz people would actually buy it.
All the old stuff should be discounted in price.

You are all over the place, and such make no sense. 1. You don't regret buying any of the dlc's, which would suggest that you are satisfied with them. Yet you complain about them being nothing more than buggy reskinned crap. So which one is it ? 2. You want old dlc's to be for free or only purchasable as a bundle on a discount. You do seem to lean more towards it going on a discount as you mention it twice. Oh and this rant was all because you wanted your friend to start playing with you. So it was their issue more than an actual issue. 3. Microtransaction store. Ugh, when will we not hear about how bad it is and how manipulating it is. It is only there to offer extra cosmetics for those who wants it. I have 8.7k hours on this game, and i have only bought 4 items with real money. If you bought something from the store, then you did so because you wanted that item, not because Bungie manipulated you into doing so.

What do you expect from these double dipping thash scumbags that have no idea wtf they are doing

Edited by MrBJovi: 12/22/2024 3:30:13 AMWord of advice! Don't buy anything from Bungie going forward. Bungie is in trouble if Marathon dips, and by the looks of things, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony sell them to an international buyer as it'll come at a phenomenal cost for Sony to upgrade and maintain Destiny 2.

Stop giving it to them you idiot
-
NEVER EVER CAMPAIGN SKIP
-
Lol stop paying for cosmetics with real money. Either: A: Use bright dust. B: Don't buy anything.
-
DEI is the death of Bungie
Micro transactions should be the only paid content in free to play games.
That boat has long sailed lol.
i bought all ur dlcs im not complaining
💀

Hahahaha

"A fool and his money are easily parted." Stop paying for garbage.

I haven't paid for anything in a year and a half and in that time I've probably played at least 1000 hours. You're doing it wrong.
-
Man, stop getting slizzered off of Egg Nog! Merry Christmas!

Only person who can stop them “milking your wallet” is you… If you really think they’re doing that - just stop giving them money. I’m not talking to OP specifically - I am addressing anyone complaining about how greedy Bungie is, as they continue to support it. I will continue to buy content, but I also see this “greed” as the new industry norm - Bungie didn’t invent it, and it isn’t going away. I also don’t have a problem paying for the current content - I’m having fun with it.

I’m sure the silver price of cosmetics is very, very carefully studied and set. There are entire teams studying just that and our consumption patterns in game in big companies.

If they were to make all of the old dlc free, then we would just have been ripped off. We spent money on that dlc, money they sure won't give back to us once the dlc goes for free. Why buy it when we could just wait for it to become free ? Reduction makes more sense. It is no longer the latest one, they already made a lot of money on the first year and this will help getting new players. We who paid for it didn't get screwed over by buying it in the year and those who joins later are more likely to buy a dlc for a game they just started.

I remember making posts similar to this years ago and was told that if I didn't like it, leave. Everyone left.

Well d2 is at an all time low with the lowest players numbers since Curse . Who knows with the things coming up in 6 months…. might attract people to come back . But how things are going can’t see d2 making it for another few months .

Just don't buy that stuff then. Problem solved.
