The problem with Spectral Blades in PvE and how to make it useful

This super has seen multiple PvE buffs and yet it remain as one of if not the worst PvE supers in the game. It needs a more serious change. I’ve separated the topics into different sections via Spoiler tags so that it might be a bit easier on the eyes when reading. The Problem:
The problem with Spectral Blades is that it’s not meant to be an ad clear super. It’s stealth mechanic and even it’s “weaken on Heavy attack” buff do not fit in with an ad clear role at all. Even with good hit registration it would always be one of the worst supers for clear ads because its kit is geared toward single target damage. The ad clear role is already dominated by tether which is one the same subclass (is a far better choice for ads and weakening), and by roaming melee supers like Arcstaff and Silkstrike which both deal solid damage and have excellent ad clear capabilities. Spectral Blades is a stealth/assassin themed super. An assassin doesn’t kill minions, it should be all about using stealth to go past minor enemies to get to the major targets/bosses and then killing them quickly or doing serious damage to them. It should be a ROAMING BURST DAMAGE SUPER. In my opinion they need to move away from the light spam playstyle and embrace the light + heavy combo playstyle which is at least somewhat consistent.
The Solution:
Spectral Blades needs a rework that will allow the super to fill out a different role compared to the other Hunter Roaming Supers. Here is the Rework: New Mechanic: Death Mark - This Debuff is unique to Spectral Blades - Deathmark is applied by Light Attacks - Doing a Heavy attack against a marked enemy consumes the mark and boosts the heavy attack SIGNIFICANTLY (I’m talking like 4x the normal damage. Maybe 3x if 4x is too much but I don’t think it is.) -Light attacks weaken enemies instead of heavy attacks. Here are the damage numbers below of current and post rework Spectral Blades. Spectral can do around 6 light + heavy combos before running out. The play style would be Light + Heavy on repeat (up to 6 times). Light Attack damage numbers: Base light attack damage= 21121 21121 * 15% (weaken debuff)= 24289 24289 * 5 = 121445 (5 light attacks from the light + heavy combo. The first one isn’t debuffed so we just add that in later on it’s own) Heavy Attack damage numbers: Base heavy attack damage= 30909 30909 * 15% (weaken debuff from light attack) = 35545 35545 * 6= 213270 (the 6 heavy attacks from the light + heavy combo) Post Rework: Death Mark Heavy: 30909 * 4 = 123,636 (The 4x damage increase on heavy. Consumes the death mark) 123,636 * 15% (weaken debuff) = 142,181 142,181 * 6 = 853,088 (this is the 6 heavy attacks assuming you do the light + heavy combo, with the death marks being applied) Total Damage of Lights + Heavies combo: 21121 (first light attack benefit from weaken) + 121445 + 853,088 = 995,654 Total Damage with Star Eater = 995,654 * 70% = 1,692,612 For context Glacial Quake + Star Eater can do 1.9M or even 2.1M.
How this change would help:
This would allow Spectral to fill a more unique role compared to other Hunter supers. Silkstrike and Arc staff already handle ad clear extremely and deal solid damage too. Spectral wouldn’t compete with them in terms of ad clear anyway no matter what we buffs we give it. Not to mention that Spectral has to compete with Tether for ad clear as well on its own subclass, which is makes it lose that role almost immediately. This rework would give it a role that fits with its identity that also gives it a purpose in PvE (such as Champion killer or Boss damage). That the other roaming supers on Hunter can’t do nearly as well
This change would have little to no effect on PvP and would be a purely PvE buff.
I also think that Warlocks and Titan should also have 1 or 2 roaming that are purely focused on Damage dealing instead of ad clear, and should be reworked to have their own unique mechanics to do really high single target damage
• Was thinking very similar thing, also if you wanna do something cool to it as well to enforce assassin more you could have an effect were exiting invisible in spectral blade would send out a radial wave with all type stun properties.
