This game is losing its spark
Repetitive activities, horrible pvp content and updates.
Seasonal activities are buggy and unplayable.
The fun that destiny 1 had has been stripped from this game and ruined everything I used to enjoy.
I hope d1 gets remastered so I can go back to how things were lol

Edited by CookieNiki: 12/25/2024 11:11:08 PMThe only thing that kept Destiny more or less alive was the fact that players were waiting for the grand finale of the 10-year saga. That has come and gone and so did players. I have bought FS with the Episodes included and I just can't make myself play through the second episode. The last time I logged into Destiny was on November 1st. I may try the 3rd episode just because it's on the Dreadnaught and I just love that Taken King environment (best expansion/DLC of all Destiny). But if it's yet another hamster wheel of recycled or repetitive activities without crafting and purely RNG based, then I'm out. I'm completely over Bungies [i]"play-for-two-hours-and-end-up-without-nothing-to-show"[/i] philosophy. I value my time and that's why I've been having fun playing other games where my involvement actually means something every single time I play.

lol remaster d1 your crazy u do realize most of d1 content is already remastered also u just wearing rose coloured glasses d2 game play wise is a far superior game yes right now d2 is in a bad place but just realize d1 remaster would be just as buggy as what we have now and you would be paying for content u already bought and also reissued.

No reason to not treat it like a inspirational classic at this point. 7 years is an eternity in gaming years. But we're all still so young.

2 RepliesI’m still enjoying the game! I think players who play too much can naturally get burnt out on the same content. Taking a break and coming back has given me a fresh, enjoyable experience. The evolution of the game is part of its journey, and I’ve come to appreciate that. That said, I do agree—Destiny 1 had a spark that felt unmatched, like no other game. But it’s tough to sustain that level of magic over a decade. I’m excited to see what’s next from Bungie! When I lived in Bellevue from 2018–2020, I could see their studio from my high-rise apartment and often wondered how decisions were made and how the game would evolve. Who knows—maybe I’ll even join their team for the next big project someday! Peace ✌️
