They lost me after not doing the right thing with this seasons event card after mistakenly giving it away for free to some but then charging anyone else to have it. It’s not about the card or items in it. It’s about how low they’ve sunk to make a buck at all costs. Treyarch made a similar mistake with their Call of Duty BO6 holiday event. They accidentally gave many players all of the resources needed to immediately unlock all items without playing. They did the right thing and unlocked all rewards for everyone - in keeping with the holiday spirit. Granted the event was free….but they allowed everyone to have all the unlocks - if you played or not. Many folks would likely have not unlocked them and now will have - free to play has much as they want or not at all. The gift of appreciation and time is priceless. I’ve spent more in the COD store during BO6 alone than I have ever spent during the life of Destiny’s Eververse store. Not hard to do the right thing.
