Why i'm starting to give up

Honestly, i have no words. I remember the days of bungie having it's back fully against the wall, destiny about to shut down and then coming out with a masterclass dlc, being forsaken. Destiny has been a franchise in my life for an extremely long time, i have sunk 5k hours into d2 alone. It is horrifying to see such poor management and tone deafness from a company i once loved and defended with my heart. This game is on a path to the gutter now, and i can list quite a few reasons why. - Purposefully ruining the player experience with constant negative changes (Huge exotic class item farming nerfs, the predatory dungeon key and episode system, constant ban waves of innocent players and streamers while then also NOT banning obvious cheaters running rampant, refusing to switch from p2p and battleye which are both terrible systems, the removal of seasonal weapon crafting, glitches still in the game from d1 melee whiffs especially etc etc etc) - The lack of any care towards a fun, creative sandbox (Forcing you to use ONE weapon type if you would like to do even reasonably good amounts of damage, constant over nerfs to things that are excelling rather than buffs to the things falling behind, pvp falls victim to lack of care towards sandbox mostly. High impact pulses and diamond lance have been allowed to run rampant for FAR too long and should've been adjusted a while ago, its like when something is broken and fun they nerf it, but when something is broken and boring they keep it? - GOD-AWFUL MANAGEMENT. HOLY HELL. The higher ups at bungie must be out of their minds to allow their monetisation systems and their management of dev teams to be permitted to stay the way that they are. How's your 20 classic cars? Because that money could've sustained the jobs of 20-30 employees for another year, such as game testers (look at the dawning). I'm sure it was worth it to lay off one of the best music composers gaming has ever seen. - Story/ Seasonal laziness. Bringing back two miniscule enemies with different stories to span over 8 months of content is outrageous. The seasonal content we have been given has clearly been shown a distinct lack of care for it and for the player's enjoyment doing them more than once. Ever done POE or onslaught salvation for more than 3 hours at a time? Enough to put someone in a white room mentally. This doesn't even cover how awful the drip feed system has become. Drip feed in previous seasons has been a good way to keep up community engagement, but now there are season levels being timegated. I do NOT have high hopes for episode heresy, i will give the content a look, and likely pass. Even though i have prepaid with a deluxe Final Shape edition. Bungie, you will go bankrupt if destiny dies. This is your legacy, not your other products. The ice is starting to break and you are rapidly falling down the slope into the cold, dark depths below. It's been a pleasure being a part of this community, but community is no longer the focus. Goodbye, and goodnight.
